YOUR OPPORTUNITY AND RESPONSIBILITY
The Key Account Manager’s primary responsibilities include prospecting, qualifying, selling and closing new business to new customers with high potential. The Key Account Manager brings a Point of View to the Customer engagement; uses all resources to solve customer problems with appropriate IFS products. Your job will be to establish and build relations to prospects on both strategic and operative level – interacting with key business stake holders and decision makers, you will be their trusted advisor. Your focus is to win new deals and create opportunities for long-term profitable business to IFS. To be able to do that you are responsible for business planning and pipeline planning. Together with Marketing, Pre-Sales and Business Developers you will run sales and marketing activities in order to position IFS and generate leads. You will also work with influencers, partners and the broader eco-system in order to position IFS towards prospects and customers. You will continuously work with prospecting in order to maintain the sales pipeline and obtain your budget.
TO BE SUCCESSFUL
To be a successful Key Account Manager within New Sales at IFS your mindset will be the key factor, but to get even further we would like you to have a relevant academic degree or equivalent experience. You have at least ten years of experience in sales of complex business software /IT solutions or management consulting experience with a sell mentality.
We are also looking for someone who:
- Has a proven track record in complex sales at C-level with a collaborative impactful manner.
- Has demonstrated success with large transactions, transformation and lengthy sales campaigns in a fast-paced consultative and competitive market.
- Has experience from working in the Scandinavian market.
- Speak and write fluently in Swedish/Norwegian and English
To succeed in this role, you are also result oriented and must have a strong desire to succeed. You have an ability to lead and motivate others and create confidence and trust. You are an excellent presenter with distinctive communication skills who is comfortable taking strategic discussions at all levels.
The position is based in one of our offices in Sweden or Norway and includes travelling (average of more than 60%), since our customers are spread out across the Nordics.
